Join the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC)
The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is all about bringing parents together, sharing ideas, supporting school initiatives, and finding ways to make our school community even stronger for our children and families. Whether you can volunteer occasionally or take on a larger role, your involvement makes a difference!
Do you have a talent, skill, or passion you'd like to share? Whether you're skilled in event planning, fundraising, construction projects, handyman work, landscaping, gardening, community outreach, or simply lending a helping hand when needed, there's a place for everyone in PAC.
Interested? Join us for our monthly PAC meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 8:15 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church Library or via Zoom. It's a great opportunity to learn more, share your ideas, and discover ways to get involved. Questions? Email PAC@fpdshhi.org.
Become a Room Parent
We are actively seeking Room Parent Volunteers in each classroom! Room Parents help build strong classroom communities by:
Assisting educators with classroom celebrations and special events
Coordinating optional playdates or family meetups outside of school
Sharing important reminders or information from educators and administration
Welcoming new families and helping them feel at home
Serve as a liaison between families, educators, and administration
Room Parents play a key role in bridging communication between families, teachers, and school leadership—and it’s a fun way to connect more deeply with your child’s learning community.
